It's been a great start to the year with the introduction of a new Friday class at the Mandurah Rec centre.  I'm hiring the facility there so you just rock up and pay in class as usual (it's not linked to the rec centre or it's membership packages).

 

Finding a new Monday venue was challenging!  Due to a mixup, I did an impromptu class in the park for the first class of the year and we enjoyed it so much we did a few more weeks!  But now we have a new home at the Leslie St Centre.... phew!!

 

The Zumba in the chair fundraiser that we ran before Christmas was a great success, raising a whopping $2000 towards Symon's wheelchair accessible vehicle.  Symon should be taking delivery of the van soon so hopefully I'll be able to share some pics :-)

 

This month we also gave a WA sendoff to an amazing Zumba Education Specialist Mike Thomas.  He's done some amazing stuff in the Zumba community and his last masterclass was a hoot!  Mike's been all over the world teaching new Zumba instructors and soon he'll be returning home to WA to run a B&B in Margaret River.  Quite a change!
